Here are some of the noteworthy protest votes in the 2025 main AGM season.

Acrow (ACF): 10.30am Sydney time virtual AGM via Automic platform on November 14. Market cap $350m after reasonable year. See text of 5 written questions submitted at 90 minute 2025 AGM. Only protest 13% against LTI grant to CEO Stephen Boland.

AGL: 10.30am hybrid AGM in Sydney via Computershare. See notice of meeting and wrap of a very lively meeting where asked 6 written questions and there was a 30.8% protest vote delivered by Mike Cannon Brookes against the climate adaptation plan.

Alligator Energy (AGE): 10.30am physical AGM in Adelaide. Previous meeting was a hybrid. Market cap $125m after year of decline. Huge protests with 44% against a director, the NED fee rise scraping through with 51.5% support and 68% against constitutional changes.

Alterity Therapeutics (ATH): 11am physical AGM at Deloitte, 477 Collins St. Stock has performed badly over many years but market cap still above $100m. Biggest protest 19.5% against director Brian Meltzer.

Amaero (3DA): 10am virtual AGM Melbourne time via Automic platform on November 18. Market cap $270m after rollercoaster year. Copped a narrow 25.5% second strike but only 6% of voted stock supported the spill.

American Rare Earths (ARR): 10am physical AGM in Sydney on November 13. Market cap soared above $320m in October 2025. The request for an extra 10% placement was defeated with 57% of voted stock against.

Anson Resources( ASN): 11am physical AGM in Brisbane on November 26, 2025. Big protest votes with a second strike, 27% support for board spill and a failed hostile board tilt. Market cap $102m.

Arafura Rare Earths (ARU): 10am Perth time hybrid and via Link/MUFG platform. Market cap circa $880m. Biggest protest 10.6% against CEO's LTI grant. See text of 4 questions asked.

ARB: 9.30am physical AGM at RACV Club. See notice of meeting. See list of dinosaur ASX300 companies still running physical AGMs with no online voting or questions. Revealed head count data for the first time in these poll results. Biggest protest 19.8% against Robert Fraser over longevity/independence.

ASX Group: 10am hybrid AGM in Sydney via Viostream and ASX website with contingent second strike vote. See wrap of lengthy meeting where lodged 6 written questions. Biggest protest 16.8% against new director Anne Loveridge due to her history with PwC, which audits the ASX.

Australian Clinical Labs (ACL): 9.30am AEST virtual AGM via Link/MUFG platform. See notice of meeting. Some shareholders are angry. They triggered a 2nd rem strike with 41.6% against & 13.4% went on to vote for the board spill. A director fell on her sword too after proxies went 28.5% against her re-election.

Australian Unity (AYU): 2pm physical meeting in Melbourne with webcast but no online participation. Biggest protest 18.8% against NED fee cap rise and released head count poll data.

Aurizon (AUZ): 2pm AEST hybrid AGM in Brisbane via Computershare platform. See text of 4 questions asked at 90 minute meeting. Biggest protest a strange 9.6% against new director Lyell Strambi despite no proxy adviser recommending against.

Bannerman Energy (BMN): ran a dinosaur physical AGM in Perth on November 13. There were protest votes of 27-30% against directors Felicity Gooding and Bruce McFadzean and 31% against the incentive grant to executive chair Brandon Munro. Market cap $660m after a reasonable year.

Barton Gold (BGD): 11am dinosaur physical AGM in Adelaide on November 26, 2025. Biggest protest 10% against rem report. Market cap $260m after a great year.

Bellevue Gold (BGL): 10am physical AGM in Perth. Market has soared to $1.7 billion. Copped multiple protests between 10-26% against rem, directors and incentive grants.

Bisalloy (BIS): 11am virtual in Sydney via Computershare platform. Market cap $255m after a strong year. Went last year and asked 8 questions at lively meeting. See text of 3 questions lodged in 2025. Only protest 19.7% against CEO LTI grant.

Boss Energy (BOE): 10.30am dinosaur physical AGM in Perth. Market cap back below $800m after a poor year for the most heavily shorted ASX300 stock. Whopping 43% rem strike and 40% against re-election of Wyatt Buck.

Botanix Pharmaceutical (BOT): 9.30am physical AGM in Perth. Market cap back below $250m after a poor year. Copped a whopping 73% rem strike and also 37% against re-election of Stewart Walker.

Brambles (BXB): 1pm hybrid in Sydney but only for live written questions, not voting, and hosted on Brambles website. See notice of meeting. Biggest protest 21.3% against Maxine Brenner's re-election.

Bravura Solutions (BVS): 10am hybrid in Sydney and via Link/MUFG platform. See notice of meeting. Market cap $1.52b on AGM day after a recent run. See text of 4 questions asked at dramatic 2025 AGM. Chair Matthew Quinn quit after major shareholder Pynetree Capital withdrew support and constitutional change to enable virtual AGMs sneaked home with 75.5% support.

Calix (CXL): 10am hybrid in Sydney via Lumi platform on November 18. Market cap now below $100m with stock at 4 year low. Allison Deans up for election. Only protest 10.3% against rem report.

Car Group (CAR): 11am hybrid at HQ in Melbourne and via Computershare platform. See text of 4 questions asked. Big protest votes with 21% against chair Pat O'Sullivan for overboarding and 18.7% against another director due to links to auditor PwC.

Catalyst Metals (CYL): 10am physical AGM at the Celtic Club in Perth on November 13. Market cap $1.9b after a huge year. Big rem protest with 17% against rem, 21% against a director and 25% against the CEO's STI grant.

Cedar Woods (CWP): 10am hybrid AGM in Perth. See notice of meeting. You need to register here in advance via MUFG which seems designed to deter attendance or control who is coming. Market cap above $600m after strong recent performance. Asked two questions at 2024 AGM and 5 questions this year. Only protest 16.9% against co-founder and long serving director Robert Brown.

Centrepoint Alliance (CAF): 11am Melbourne time virtual AGM via Computershare platform on November 14. Market cap $75m after poor year. There was a 26% vote against two directors and the proportional takeovers extension was actually defeated.

Chalice Mining (CHN): 10am physical AGM in Perth on November 20. Market cap had soared to $950m by October 14, 2025. Copped 3 different 35% protest votes on incentive grants.

# Charter Hall (CHC): dinosaur 2.30pm physical AGM in Sydney on November 20. See list of dinosaur ASX300 companies still running physical AGMs with no online voting or questions. Market cap above $10b after another good year. Biggest protest 12.5% against rem report.

City Chic Collective (CCX): ran a dinosaur physical AGM in Sydney on November 13. They copped a 33% rem strike plus 29.6% against chair Michael Kay, 31% against CEO's LTI grant and even 15% against renewal of proportional takeovers provision. The market cap is down to $36m after another bad year.

Cleanaway (CWY): 11am Brisbane time hybrid via Computershare platform. See wrap of meeting where there was a 40.7% rem strike and 17% against rem chair Jackie McArthur. Issue was $4.2m for CEO Mark Schubert after multiple fatalities.

Clinuvul (CUV): 10am physical AGM in Melbourne at ABL. Market cap $541m. Massive 63% rem strike, plus 16% and 32% against two directors up for election.

Cochlear (COH): 10am hybrid AGM in Sydney via Computershare platform. Only protest 9.52% against independent director Karen Penrose.

Coventry Group (CYG): 9am hybrid meeting in Thomastown office and via Teams on November 21. Market cap $72m and has been listed since January 1966. Voting results saw 18-19% against all 4 directors seeking re-election and 20% against the rem report.

CSL: 10am hybrid in Melbourne at RACV Club and via Lumi platform. Missed it due to ASA Hawthorn speaking commitment. There was a whopping 42.3% second strike but only 2% support for the spill.

Cuscal (CCL): 4pm hybrid in Sydney via Link/MUFG platform. New float which has performed well to have a market cap above $700m. Liz Proust is the chair. Disclosed proxies early at debut AGM and only protest 14% against lift in NED fee cap.

Cyprium Metals (CYM): biggest protest 28% against extra 10% placement capacity. Market cap $170m.

Data3 (DTL): 10am hybrid Brisbane time and via Link/MUFG platform. Biggest protest 10% against CEO's LTI grant. Asked these 5 questions.

Deep Yellow (DYL): noon physical AGM at Perth Celtic Club on November 20. Market cap $1.91b. Massive 85% defeat of a loan scheme, narrowly avoided a strike and one director almost defeated.

# Emeco Holdings (EHL): Market cap back above $600m after strong recent performance. Ran a physical AGM in Perth last year. See list of dinosaur ASX300 companies still running physical AGMs with no online voting or questions. Three different 20% rem protest votes.

Emmerson Resources (ERM): 9am Perth time physical AGM. Market cap has recently soared above $150m for the first time. Held a hybrid via Automic in Perth last year. Biggest protest 38% against extra 10% placement capacity but multiple rem protests too.

EQT Holdings (EQT): 2pm physical AGM in Melbourne. See list of dinosaur ASX300 companies still running physical AGMs with no online voting or questions. No early proxy disclosure. Biggest protest 19.5% against rem report.

Excelsior Capital (ECL): 11am Sydney physical with plenty of conflict on the agenda. Market cap around $125m. Massive 65% rem strike but challenging directors were defeated.

Fleetwood (FWD): 3pm hybrid in Sydney and via Computershare platform. Sold Oct 20, two days early so missed out. Three material rem protest votes, the largest being 32% against NED fee rise..

Generation Development Group (GDG): 10am hybrid at Baker & McKenzie in Melbourne and via Automic platform on November 20. Market cap is $2.72b after another great year led by Grant Hackett. See 7 questions asked at 2024 AGM. Biggest protests 12% on rem and 17% against an incentive grant and kudos for delivering headcount data via Automic.

Genesis Minerals (GMD): 10.30am physical AGM in Perth on November 13 despite having a market cap of $6.7 billion as gold booms. Only protest 14% against constitutional amendment.

Globe International (GLB): 11am virtual AGM via Link platform. Another rem strike caused by Solly Lew.

Healius (HLS): 11am Sydney hybrid AGM and via Computershare platform. Went close to a second strike with 20.4% against rem report the only material protest vote.

Helloworld (HLO): 10am hybrid at South Melbourne HQ and via Computershare platform. Market cap $285m with stock having gone nowhere for 5 years. Only protest 9.5% against Cinzia Burnes, who is related to the CEO.

Horizon Minerals (HRZ): 2pm physical AGM in Perth with big across the board protest votes peaking at 31% against an increase in the NED fee cap via Computershare for the Perth-based gold miner capped at $225m. No early proxy disclosure in these formal addresses.

Horizon Oil (HZN): 10am physical AGM in Sydney on November 19.. Market cap $333m after recent recovery. Biggest protest 16.2% against rem report.

# Hub24 (HUB): 1pm physical AGM in Sydney on November 20. Hopeless given market cap has soared to $9.2b. Biggest protest 20.5% against CEO's LTI grant.

IDP Education (IEL): 9.30am hybrid AGM in Melbourne at 727 Collins St and via Link platform. See text of 6 questions asked at 2023 AGM and ridiculous 11 written questions submitted at 2021 AGM. Market cap was $1.81b on AGM day after another bad year. There was a 33.4% rem strike in 2024 and the CEO's LTI grant only scraped over the line with 52.6% in favour. The crusty old school chair Peter Polson was finally succeeded by Tracey Horton on June 16. See 4 questions submitted. They copped a 35.5% second strike and 32% against the CEO's LTI grant but only 6.5% backed the spill.

Insurance Australian Group (IAG): Sydney hybrid kicks off at 9.30am via Computershare platform. Out early with these key dates on December 2, 2024. Disclosed proxies early and surprised to see a 14.7% protest vote against former Myer chair Joanne Stephenson, plus 26% against an increase in the fee cap for the NEDs.

Integral Diagnostics (IDX): 10am hybrid in Melbourne via Computershare platform. Asked 6 questions at 2023 AGM. Market cap back to $1b after recovering from February plunge. Modest 11% against CEO incentive grant.

IODM Ltd (IOD): 10am physical AGM in Melbourne on November 13. Market cap circa $80m after a recent recovery. Avoided second strike by the narrowest of margins with 24.98% against the rem report.

Ioneer (INR): 10am AEDT virtual meeting. Market cap is $427m after a recent recovery. Lobbed 3 online questions on Big Tech, AI and proxy adviser when voting via Boardroom on October 4 but hated 250 character limit. Sold too early on Oct 27. Copped a 27% rem strike and 19% against two incentive grant resolutions.

James Hardie (JHX): 7am AEST hybrid from Dublin. See notice of meeting. No questions at 17 minute meeting and 6 resolutions defeated including 3 directors and the chair Anne Lloyd with 67% against. Got registered for phone but then too slow to ask a telephone questions.

JB Hi Fi (JBH): 10am hybrid at RACV Club in Melbourne and via Computershare platform. See notice of meeting. Biggest protest 24% against LTI grant and 15% on rem. See wrap of meeting.

Kingston Resources (KSN): 2pm dinosaur physical AGM in Sydney on November 26, 2025. Biggest protest was 36.4% defeat of extra 10% placement capacity request. Market cap $101m after a good year.

Lindsay Australia (LAU): 11am Brisbane time hybrid via Computershare platform. Attended last year - see 7 questions lodged. Market cap $230m after a poor year. See text of 3 written questions submitted at 35 minute 2025 AGM. Biggest protest 11% against director Robert Green.

LI-S Energy (LIS): 11am virtual Brisbane time via Automic platform on November 18. Market cap $120m after a recent surge. There was a 20% against vote on the rem report.

Lotus Resources (LOT): 9.30am physical AGM in Perth. Market cap $665m for aspiring African uranium miner. Copped a 35% rem strike and 32% against director Michael Bowen.

Lovissa (LOV): 9.30am physical AGM in Melbourne at 333 Collins St. Market cap has boomed to $4 billion this year. See ridiculous deluge of 14 questions lodged at 2021 AGM. They copped a 75% remuneration protest vote as The AFR noted in this AGM report plus 19.2% against director Bruce Carter and 32% against John Cheston's incentive grant.

Maas Group (MGH): 10am hybrid in Brisbane via Link/MUFG platform. Only protest vote 22.2% against Steve Bizzell re-election.

Macquarie Technology (MAQ): held a last day physical AGM in Sydney in 2023 and 2024 and finally brought it forward in 2025. However, they stuck with a dinosaur physical format and few shareholders will turn up at 9am on a Friday morning. No rem report protest but 22% against both resolutions on the CEO's incentives. Market cap $1.6b.

Medallion Metals (MM8): 10am physical in Perth via Automic on November 26, 2025. See notice of meeting. Market cap $245m. Multiple big 38% protest votes against director incentive grants.

Mirvac (MGR): 11am physical AGM in Sydney. See notice of meeting. See list of dinosaur ASX300 companies still running physical AGMs with no online voting or questions. Market cap is $8.9b after a flat year. Only protest 28% against Peter Nash re-election and came through with headcount data.

Monash IVF (MVF): 2pm hybrid AGM in Melbourne via MUFG platform. Attended in 2021 when asked these 8 questions. See package on 6 questions submitted in 2024. Market cap down to $235m after a shocking year of scandals. More than 12% against both directors up for election including chair Richard Davis.

Money Me (MME): 11am physical AGM in Sydney. Market cap around $85m after plunging in February. Biggest protest 39% against renewal of proportional takeover provision.

Mont Royal Resources (MRZ): 10am dinosaur Perth AGM on November 26, 2025. Massive 90% rejection of proposed constitutional amendment. Market cap $50m after a strong year.

Mystate (MYS): 10.30am hybrid AGM in Hobart via Computershare platform. Market cap circa $700m and stock has recovered over past two years. See 6 questions asked at 2024 Mystate AGM. Biggest protest 13% against rem and 10.7% against chair Sandra Birkensleigh.

New Hope Coal (NHC): only protest 13% against constitutional amendment.

Next DC (NXT): 11am hybrid on November 13 at its Artarmon data centre and via the Link/MUFG platform. There was a massive 72% rem strike and 17% against CEO Craig Scroggie's LTI grant. At least the proxies were disclosed early in these formal addresses.

NTAW Holdings (NTD): 10am Brisbane hybrid AGM via Computershare platform on November 13. Market cap around $50m. See text of 5 written questions submitted at 33 minute 2025 AGM. No protests but withdrew the extra 10% placement capacity resolution after complaints from shareholders.

Orora (ORA): 10.30am hybrid in Melbourne at the Event Centre with online details coming here later. See notice of meeting. Copped a 48.8% rem strike and put share issue restriction into constitution.

Orthocell (OCC): 10am hybrid in Perth via Automic platform. Market cap has soared recently to almost $400m, but then retreated again. Held a last day possible AGM in 2024. See text of 6 written questions submitted at 80 minute 2025 AGM. Chunky protests of between 18-23% against all 7 rem items.

Paladin Energy (PDN): 9am partial hybrid AGM in Perth with a weblink accommodating written questions released on November 5. Market cap approaching $4 billion. Narrowly copped a rem strike but no other protests.

Perpetual (PPT): 10am hybrid AGM in Sydney via Link platform. Disclosed proxies early and biggest protest 17.6% against rem report.

Polynovo (PNV): 1pm hybrid in Melbourne at Collins Arch (Minter Ellison, level 20 447 Collins St) and via Computershare platform with a late addition to the agenda adding a new director. Qoria (QOR): 9am physical AGM in Perth. Market cap almost $900m after a big run. There was 13% against rem report and a director and 22-23% protests against the CEO incentive and employee incentive plan.

Qube (QUB): 10am hybrid in Sydney. Market cap is $7.6b after a reasonable year. See 6 questions asked at 2024 AGM. Whopping 45% protest against CEO's STI grant and 18% against rem report.

Recce Pharmaceuticals (RCE): 9.30am hybrid at Automic Sydney office and using Automic platform. Market cap $120m after a flat year. Attended for first time asking 3 written questions. Huge across the board protest votes.

Region Group (RGN): 2pm hybrid AGM in Sydney via Link/MUFG platform. See 6 questions asked at 2024 AGM. Market cap was $2.83b on AGM day. Asked 6 questions at 2 hour meeting and biggest protest 18% against CEO's LTI grant.

Ridley (RIC): 10am hybrid in Melbourne at KPMG 727 Collins St and via Computershare platform. Market cap $1.08b after a reasonable year. See 14 questions lodged at two previous Ridley AGMs. Biggest protest 12.3% against rem report.

Scidev (SCV): market cap $85m and biggest protest 30%+ against extra 10% placement capacity which saw the resolution defeated.

Servcorp (SRV): 4pm hybrid in Sydney via Lumi/Boardroom platform on November 13. See notice of meeting. Market cap back above $700m after a strong year. See 7 questions lodged at 2022 AGM. SGH (SGH): 10am physical AGM in Sydney on November 13 with a live stream but no online participation. See notice of meeting. There was a 19.7% rem protest with strike only avoided before Kerry Stokes was controversially able to vote his 50% stake in favour of his CEO son's rem package. Also 7% against director Annabelle Chaplain.

Silex Systems (SLX): 11am hybrid in Sydney via Computershare platform. Market cap $1 billion. Biggest protest 10% against Chris Wilks and 16.6% against CEO's LTI grant. Asked these 2 questions.

Seven West Media (SWM): 10.30am physical AGM in Sydney. See notice of meeting. See list of dinosaur ASX300 companies still running physical AGMs with no online voting or questions. Copped a rem strike when Stokes couldn't vote and double digit protest votes against both independent directors up even when he could.

Sky City Entertainment (SKC): 10am hybrid AGM NZ time via Computershare platform. See text of 3 questions asked. Big protests against both Australian directors with 26.3% opposing Kate Hughes and 18.6% opposing Glenn Davis.

South32 (S32): noon hybrid in Perth and via Computershare platform. See notice of meeting and text of 4 questions asked at 135 minute meeting. The copped a 35% rem strike.

SRG Global (SRG): 10am physical AGM in Perth. Market cap $1.2b. Copped a whopping 35% rem strike.

St Barbara (SBM): dinosaur 2pm physical AGM in Perth. It recently announced a $58m placement at 46c, a hefty discount to the previous close of 51c. Argonaut clipped the ticket for 5% with a potential 1% bonus and the 18,885 retail shareholders were shafted with no SPP so they've been added to this “placement only shame file”. Market cap was $695.6m on October 24 with the stock at 56c meaning the lucky placement recipients have made a quick 21.7% paper profit. Biggest protest 20% against CEO's LTI grant.

Strike Energy (STX): 11am Perth time hybrid AGM via Lumi platform on November 13. Market cap $378m after dreadful year. There was a 39.6% rem strike, termination benefits request was defeated but challenging external board candidate only got 10%.

Sunrise Energy Metals (SRL): 12.30pm physical AGM in Melbourne on November 13. They withdrew its 10% placement uplift resolution on the morning of the meeting because its market cap had soared to $514m, well above the $300m limit. Biggest protest 9% against director Stefanie Loader.

Super Retail (SUL): 10am Brisbane time hybrid AGM via Link/MUFG platform. Proxies were disclosed early showing 25% against re-election of chair Judith Swales.

# Syntara (SNT): 10am virtual AGM Sydney time. Market cap almost $50m. The extra 10% placement capacity was easily defeated on the proxies and withdrawn.

Treasury Wine Estates (TWE): 10am hybrid at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne and via Computershare platform with whole board up as usual, including overworked chair John Mullen. See notice of meeting. Market cap $4.97b after bad year. Lodged 4 written questions at the 80 minute meeting. Biggest protest 14.47% against John Mullen due to over-boarding.

Vault Minerals (VAU) (formerly Red 5 - RED): 2pm physical AGM at Corrs in Perth on November 14. Market cap $4.48b. Enormous 51.7% rem strike and 35% against re-election of director Peter Johnston.

VHM Holdings (VHM): noon hybrid in Melbourne and via Automic platform. Stock has recently doubled to a market cap of $110m. Biggest protest 14% against director Ron Douglas.

WA1 Resources (WA1): 11am dinosaur physical AGM in Perth. Market cap $1.53b after shares more than doubled in 2025. See list of dinosaur ASX300 companies still running physical AGMs with no online voting or questions. Biggest protest 16.2% against incentive plan.

West Wits Mining (WWI): 3pm physical AGM in Melbourne at level 20, 181 Williams St on November 20. Market cap $250m after recent surge. Three big 37% protest votes against director incentive grants and 20% against re-election of director Warwick Grigor.

Westgold Resources (WGX): 1pm dinosaur physical AGM in Perth on November 21. See notice of meeting. Market cap $5.5b. Ran a physical AGM on November 28, 2024. Interesting protests with 11% against rem report, 15% against a director and 49% against the CEO's incentive grant.
