3 questions lodged at 2026 Omega Oil & Gas (OMA) hybrid AGM

October 29, 2026

Below is the text of the 3 written questions submitted at the 40 minute Omega Oil & Gas (OMA) 2pm hybrid via Automic in Sydney on October 29, 2026. See notice of meeting detailing 8 voting items. There were no protest votes. Market cap $407m on AGM day. Gave them a plug on Twitter. The proxies were not disclosed early in the formal addresses. There were no protest votes.

Q1. How many shareholders voted by proxy on this item and will you disclose the head count data with the poll results?

Answer: Having run a best practice hybrid AGM via Automic in Sydney with strong voting support on all 8 resolutions, a shame that Omega Oil and Gas (market cap $407m) didn't agree to disclose the headcount data. I'll keep plugging away on this issue. Watch video of exchange via Twitter.

Q2. Will a copy of the webcast be made available on your website?

Answer: The answer was no. Having gone to the trouble of running a hybrid AGM complete with video, why wouldn't a $407m market cap company like Omega Oil publish a full copy of the AGM webcast on their website? Not doing so turns the debate into a selective briefing for those of us who tuned in live. Watch video of exchange via Twitter.

Q3. Thanks for offering a best practice hybrid AGM via the excellent Automic platform. Next year could you please disclose the proxy votes earlier to the ASX along with the formal addresses. These are small gripes but overall well done.

Answer: The respondent said they'd consider this for next year. When everyone is happy with all resolutions, why not get the data into the market before trading commences along with the formal addresses? Watch video of exchange via Twitter.
