2 questions lodged at 2026 IAG hybrid AGM

October 22, 2026

Below is the text of the 2 written questions submitted at the Insurance Australia Group (IAG) 9.30am hybrid AGM via the Computershare platform on October 22, 2026. See notice of meeting detailing 5 voting resolutions Market cap $20.4b. Own 10 shares. See 5 questions submitted at 2024 AGM. Noms closed on August 12 but they only lodged this document with ASX on August 13. The proxies were disclosed early in the formal addresses. There were no protest votes.

Q1. Well done for disclosing the proxy votes to the ASX along with the formal addresses and well done for achieving more than 95% support on all 5 resolutions. Thanks again for running a best practice hybrid AGM. Chair, you just need to follow what you do at Stockland and reveal the headcount data in the poll results and you'll have a run a perfect AGM. Our share registry provider Computershare does this at its own AGM and has the data. How about it? Sure, it might show a majority of voting retail shareholders voting against this rem report item, but if that's what we've done, it's a fact. It still should be disclosed.

Answer: The chair obviously said no because these poll results did not include head count data. Watch video of exchange via Twitter.

Q2. Given that we're progressively seeing the various mutually owned RAC organisations across Australia exit their insurance operations, it arguably doesn't make sense for RACV to hang in with its 30% stake in IMA over the longer term. Since that joint venture was first negotiated when Nick Whitlam was chair of the then mutually owned NRMA more than 25 years ago, have there been any material changes to the terms of the agreement? Are there any things that we'd like to do but can't do courtesy of having RACV as a 30% joint venture partner across Victoria and NSW? Have we ever tried to buy them out?
