October 26, 2026

Below is the text of the 4 written questions submitted at the 90 minute-plus Sky City Entertainment (SKC) 10am Kiwi time hybrid via the Computershare platform on October 21, 2026. See notice of meeting detailing 2 director election. Market cap was $601m on AGM day. The proxies were disclosed early in the formal addresses. Only protest was 9% against re-election of David Attenborough. See 3 questions asked at 2025 AGM.

Q1. Isn't selling off the Grand Hotel in our Auckland precinct an example of selling off the crown jewels. Does $NZ221m represent a profit against both book value and our historic investment in the asset?

Answer: The chair Julian Cook said they still retained two other hotels and about 600 rooms and that it would have been a historical profit and probably a book profit. He should know that and it should have been disclosed. Watch video of exchange via Twitter.

Q2. How many audit tenders have we run during PwC's uninterrupted 30 year run as external auditor or our business? If the answer isn't zero, when was the last tender and when are we next likely to run an audit tender?

Answer: Chair Julian Cook said there were no tenders during his 5 years on the board but they're about to do one. Bingo! If you don't ask, you don't get. Watch video of exchange via Twitter.

Q3. The other David Attenborough turned 100 in May this year. How old is our David Attenborough and is he intending to serve a full 3 year term on our board? What does he regard as the two best decisions Sky City made during his first 3 year term on the board?

Answer: David said he is 63 and cited the Grand Hotel sale in terms of fixing the balance sheet and the two new online licenses in NZ as the best achievements so far. Watch video of exchange via Twitter, plus this extract from his election stump speech.

Q4. Kiwi AGMs are often boring because there are so few items of business to vote on. Given that we're dual listed on the ASX, could you please give shareholders a chance to vote on your remuneration report next years as is mandatory in Australia?

Answer:
Sky City chair Julian Cook rejected Australia-style rem report voting for the second straight year. Get with the program, son! Watch video of exchange via Twitter, plus see this coverage of the issue in Kiwi web publication Business Desk.
