3 questions lodged at 2026 Altair Minerals (ALR) virtual EGM

Below is the text of the 3 written questions submitted at the 8 minute Altair Minerals (ALR) 11am virtual EGM held via Zoom on September 3, 2026 to approve 2 capital raising resolutions. See notice of meeting. Market cap $351m on EGM day. No formal addresses were lodged with the ASX and was the only shareholder asking questions. There were no protest votes.
Q1. The latest annual report says that we have 2,225 shareholders yet we never seem to be given a chance to offer equity to help fund the company's opportunities. In November last year you did a $13m placement at 1.6c with no share purchase plan for retail shareholders to participate on the same terms and then in April this year you did a $28m placement to Endeavour Mining at 4.3c, again with no SPP for retail. Today we're proposing two further equity issues associated with acquisitions and personnel. Will we offer all retail shareholder an SPP to provide equity funding to the company before the next AGM to make up for past dilution?
Answer: The chair Mordi Benedikt didn't get to this during the formalities of the meeting - watch video of him skipping it via Twitter - but at least CEO Faheem Ahmed read it out in full at the end of the meeting. However, his answer just repeated what was on the agenda for the EGM rather than responding directly, so don't hold your breath for an SPP any time soon.
Q2. Both resolutions today give the recipient of the equity the option to nominate someone other than themselves to receive it. Could both recipients, Christian Sema and Simon Bolster, please comment on whether they intend to take the equity in their own name. If not, what vehicle are they intending to use? If they're not on the call, could someone who is aware of the situation please respond?

Q3. Is this meeting being recorded and will a copy of the webcast be published on our website so that the 2200-plus shareholders who didn't tune in live are able to find our what was said?
Answer: The CEO Faheem Ahmed read this out and handed to out-sourced company secretary Justin Mouchacca who confirmed it was being recorded but just padded it away giving no commitments and saying they would look into it. Very much doubt they'll publish it. Watch video of exchange via Twitter.
