4 questions lodged at 2026 Plenti (PLT) virtual AGM

August 18, 2026

Below is the text of the 4 written questions submitted at the 45 minute Plenti (PLT) 1pm virtual AGM via Automic platform on August 18, 2026. See notice of meeting. Market cap $155.8m on AGM day. The proxies were commendably disclosed early along with these formal addresses with the only protest being 17.5% against the additional 10% placement capacity. See poll results. Should have asked for headcount data. Made the mistake of Tweeting these questions out 2 hours before kick-off, giving them time to work up scripted responses which they duly read out.

Q1. Is loan application document review still our most important area for AI deployment, as CFO Miles Drury told The AFR's Revitalising Growth Productivity Forum in December last year? Are there any cost management issues with our AI deployment and which Big Tech firms are we most relying on for AI?

Answer: The chair Mary Ploughman read a scripted response which named 4 different AI providers - Anthropic, Open AI, Google and Microsoft - and talked up the broad use of AI across the business. Watch video of exchange via Twitter.

Q2. It is never easy for a founder to transition to a non-executive director role, especially when they remain the largest shareholder. Could Daniel Foggo please comment on how he has found the transition. Does he still have an office at our headquarters and does he access more management information than the other non-executive directors? Also, is he intending to retain all of his current 29.3m shares beyond next year's AGM?

Answer:
The founder read a scripted response but importantly said he has no office and only receives the same information as all the other directors. It helps that he has also moved to New Zealand, so it's not easy just to pop into the Sydney HQ. Watch video of exchange via Twitter.
Q3. Thank you for disclosing the proxies early to the ASX along with the formal addresses and well done for receiving strong voting supporting on remuneration and board election resolutions. The only material protest vote was 17.5% against the request for an additional 10% placement capacity, which means it was close to being defeated given the requirement for a 75% super majority. Given that pro-rata capital raisings are the fairest way to treat all shareholders, will the board undertake not to put this resolution up again at next year's AGM.

Answer: The chair Mary Ploughman read a scripted response saying that they had asked for this authority 5 years in a row but never used it. She said they'll review it for next year. Hopefully it won't appear again. Watch video of exchange via Twitter.

Q4. Jacqui Colwell's CV certainly seems to line up well with our skill and industry knowledge requirements. Could Jacqui and the chair comment on the recruitment process that led to her appointment to the board. Was a head hunter involved and was it competitive to the extent that the full board interviewed other candidates? Also, did Jacqui know any of our directors before engaging with the recruitment process?

Answer: The chair Mary Ploughman read a scripted response detailing an excellent process with a recruitment firm and multiple candidates. Importantly, Jacqui had not met any of the other directors so had no inside run either. She'll be a great addition to this board, being a co-founder of Judo Bank. Watch video of exchange via Twitter.
