May 30, 2026

Below is the text of the 2 written questions submitted at the 42 minute United Overseas Corp (UOS) noon AEST virtual AGM via Zoom which was initially scheduled for May 28, but was then adjourned on the day until May 29 due to the May 27 passing of executive chair Chong Soon Kong. See notice of meeting detailing six resolutions. No protest votes last year. Market cap $1.13 billion on AGM day. The proxies were not disclosed early and no formal address was lodged with the ASX. There were no material protest votes.

Q1. Will a copy of the AGM recording be placed on your website for the benefit of shareholders unable to attend live?

Answer: Not asked by company secretary Stuart Third as can be seen on this video via Twitter.

Q2. What is the logic of UOS being listed on the ASX when it is a foreign company?

Answer: Still puzzled why this Singapore-based Asian property developer is dual-listed in Singapore and on the ASX when it has no operations or assets in Australia. The question was not asked by company secretary Stuart Third as can be seen on this video via Twitter.
