Computershare
(CPU): asked them to embrace early proxy disclosure and head count
disclosure in the poll result at the 2023
AGM and they fully got with the program in 2024 (see poll
results). Have been running full hybrids and following the agenda since
COVID. The website has one
of the best AGMs archives all the way back to 2010 including full
recordings back to this
2015 AGM.
Helia (HLI): They reached best practice at the 2026 AGM where asked these 6 written questions submitted at the 1 hour Helia Group (HLI) hybrid AGM in Sydney and via the Link/MUFG platform on May 7, 2026. Market cap $1.42b on AGM day. See text of 5 questions asked in 2025 where there was a 28% rem strike and big protest votes over the CEO share sale. See notice of meeting and 2026 poll results. The 2026 proxies were commendably disclosed early, separately from these formal addresses, with no protest votes. Both voting disclosures included headcount data. Well done. They also followed the agenda and got the webcast archive up within 24 hours which was impressive. Suspect former Myer chair JoAnne Stephenson had a hand in these moves as she is on the Helia board and delivered the key reforms at the retailer as detailer below.
Myer (MYR): commenced in 2022 under then chair Joanne Stephenson
with this early
proxy disclosure which included the bonus of voter numbers as well.
Has been retained ever since, along with hybrids, following the agenda and the
archive of the last 3 shareholder meetings are online. See 2024
AGM. However, everything in the pre-Olivia Wirth period has been
removed.
Suncorp (SUN): responded positively to a request at the 2024 AGM
(see text of
question 2) and disclosed these
head count voting results which showed around 1700 shareholders voted
with Lindsay Tanner being the most unpopular director. In terms of early proxy
disclosure they made the
switch in 2025, Christine McLoughlin's final year as chair. Have been
running full hybrids ever since COVID and always follow the agenda at what can
be lengthy meetings. The website has a very solid AGM archive including
full recordings back to this
2021 AGM and even this
2015 transcript.
Stockland (SGP): Below is the text of the 4 written questions
submitted at the
70 minute Stockland hybrid AGM held at 2.30pm in Sydney on October 16,
2025, and via the
Lumi platform. See notice of meeting and voting
results. Market cap was $15 billion on AGM day after
a great year. The proxies
were disclosed early in the formal addresses for the first time, after
a request to do this at last year's AGM where asked these 7
questions. They also came through with headcount data in the
poll results, which is great. Well done. The website has a very solid AGM archive back
to 2014 including full recordings back to this
2021 AGM but there are no transcripts.
