4 questions lodged at 2026 NZ King Salmon (NZK) hybrid AGM

March 7, 2026

Below is the text of the 4 written questions submitted at the 113 minute New Zealand King Salmon (NZK) 2pm hybrid AGM held in NZ on February 18, 2026 and via the Computershare platform. See notice of meeting. Ran a fake hybrid last year but have fixed it this year. Market cap was $94m on AGM day. The proxies were not disclosed early in these formal addresses. There were no protest votes.

Q1. Tasmanian salmon farming remains a big political and ESG issue in Australia. Indeed, Australia's biggest super market company Woolworths suffered a 32% protest vote on a hostile salmon related shareholder resolution at its AGM in November last year. How is the political and investor debate in New Zealand different from what has played out in Tasmania in recent years and does the chair believe Tasmania's salmon industry is sustainable?

Q2. If Xero and Fletcher Building can voluntarily put up a remuneration report for approval as the law requires in Australia, why don't we do the same given that we are dual listed in Australia and many of our Australian shareholders would like to see such a move? New Zealand looks like a governance backwater by rejecting a say on pay, so why don't get with the program and do it voluntarily next year?

Q3. Thank you for offering a genuine hybrid AGM this year, with both online questions and online voting. Will a full copy of the AGM webcast be published on your website for the benefit of shareholders unable to watch live, even if some of the debate is a little uncomfortable for the board?

Q4. At next year's AGM, could you please disclose the proxy position to the ASX/NZSX earlier, along with the formal addresses. This would allow for a more fully informed debate. Have there been any material protests against either of the directors up for election today, or the Wellboat related party transaction?
