Q1. Is it time for ASA to stop voting against shareholder resolutions at ASX200 AGMs proposing constitutional amendments to allow for opinion based shareholder resolutions. If ASA is a shareholder rights group, why would we oppose constitutional changes that give shareholders a greater opportunity to voice concerns through a vote at an AGM or EGM. Sure, boards don't like these proposals, but they are pro-shareholder, enhance board scrutiny and should be supported by ASA.
