4 questions asked at 2023 Boart Longyear AGM

May 25, 2023

Here is the text of the 4 written questions asked at the 2023 Boart Longyear virtual AGM held on May 25.

1. Will you commit to putting a remuneration report up for the vote next year like all ASX listed companies are required to do?

2. Given the interesting discussions across a range of topics today, could the chair undertake to make an archived copy of the webcast plus a full transcript of proceedings available on the company's website? The likes of Nine, AGL, ASX, ANZ, Domino's and Lend Lease all produced their 1st AGM transcripts in 2021. Will you follow suit today? This is something IAG has been doing since 2003.

3. Why do we remain listed on the ASX when we are registered in Canada and the head office is Salt Lake City. How many of our shareholders are domiciled in Australia and how many of our directors and senior managers live in Australia?

4. We are carrying $US1.7 billion of accumulated losses on the books. What is the total amount lost by lenders and investors since Macquarie floated Boart Longyear on the ASX more than 15 years ago? Isn't the correct figure close to $A5 billion?
