S&P index change announcements

This list provides links to S&P index changes announcements applying to ASX listed companies over the past decade.

June 12, 2020: largest ever amount of changes impacting almost 200 companies.

September 6, 2019: no changes to the 20 or 50 with the most controversial aspect being the inclusion of Isignthis in the ASX300, a move which sparked index buying and some insider selling which would no doubt have grown substantially but for the ASX suspension on October 2. It hasn't traded since and was ditched from the 300 on Friday.

June 14, 2019: Goodman Group replaced Coles in the ASX20 and Afterpay cracked the ASX50 for the first time.

June 8, 2018: Amcor replaced AMP in the ASX20 and Cochlear replaced Incitec Pivot in the ASX50.

September 1 2017: Charter Hall replaced Primary Healthcare in the ASX100 and Afterpay debuted in the ASX300.

June 9, 2017: Speedcast cracked the 200 and Aristocrat replaced Incitec Pivot in the All Australian 50.

September 4, 2015: Qube and Spotless replace Metcash and Transpacific in the 100 and Bellamy's cracks the 300.

March 6, 2015: Medibank debuted in the 50 and Seek was the other new addition as Iluka and Worley exited.

March 7, 2014: IAG replaced Newcrest in the 20, James Hardie replaced Qantas in the 50 and REA Group cracked the 100.

March 1, 2013: Fairfax exited the 100 and Magellan Financial Group debuted in the 200.
