The commencement time was just before 5.30pm and Steve Price was interviewing Raymond Hoser about his standing as a candicate in the Frankston-East by-election.

Steve Price: Two final questions, have you worked out yet who your will preference?

Raymond Hoser: No, I will, once I know who in fact is standing.

Steve Price: and just finally, you've got a criminal record, do you think you should let the people of Frankston East know the details of that?

Raymond Hoser: I have been charged with criminal offences and they are public in my books which have sold thirteen thousand copies, they are available in every library including those in Frankston. There is no secret, the charges only were laid against me after I blew the lid on corruptions in government and I think the people have the right to know which came first and that's never been hidden and I would boast the fact that

Raymond Hoser: That was overturned on appeal.

Steve Price: Ah, you were fined three hundred and fifty dollars on each charge back in November Nineteen ninety.

Raymond Hoser: That was overturned on appeal in ninety one and it is also a matter of public record that

Steve Price: (talking over Hoser) And you've been charged with a dog attack.

Raymond Hoser: Sorry?

Steve Price: Perjury

Raymond Hoser: No, wrong again.

Steve Price: (talking over Hoser) Well I have a copy of your Police record, I don't see that Ic an have it wrong.

Raymond Hoser: Well, the record you have is incorrect. The bottom line is

Steve Price: (talking over Hoser) it's not incorrect is it.

Raymond Hoser: It is. The record, the correct record is in fact published in the book Victoria Police Corruption. It have never been hidden.

Steve Price: (talking over Hoser) Well I have your record here. I have your record here.

Raymond Hoser: The bottom line is

Raymond Hoser: Ninety eight, October ninety eight, no you're wrong there.
