Saturday morning briefing on the weather

November 27, 2010

Dear booth workers,

we're just about to head off and given the situation with the weather thought it best to advise perhaps an umbrella and a sling bag which can hold the how to vote cards.

We don't know how each individual booth will cater for the weather in regards to what it means for voter volumes and whether booth workers are sheltered. However, booths such as the RMIT canteen and level 12 of 300 Flinders St at Victoria University will obviously be dry all day.

Given that we've got quite a number of floaters for the afternoon, it would be great if you could ring or text Paula on 0411 483 176 with a quick update on how the booth caters with the elements.

If a particular booth is dreadful for the elements we could also potentially re-assign to something better.

Finally, if anyone runs out of cards and is in the eastern part of the electorate, we have left some cards at the front door of 10 McLachlan St, Templestowe if there needs to be a pick-up.

Thanks again for all your support and enjoy the day.

Best wishes, Stephen and Paula
