Catherine Cumming
: Footscray District. 37 year-old Cumming was first elected to Maribyrnong Council in 1997 and is currently in her fifth term on the council. She is a doctor of Chinese medicine and has run her own business, The Barefoot Doctors Clinic, in Footscray for the past 10 years. Bob Halsall: Cranbourne District. Halsall is the husband of former Casey Mayor Janet Halsall. Halsall and his wife were both defeated at the 2008 local government elections. Halsall is campaigning for the 'Make the State Pay' group, trying to make the state government pay for remediation work on a methane emitting landfill seat next to a housing estate in Cranbourne.
