The ASX200 companies with no female directors in 2010

This list tracks all ASX200 companies which still had no female directors in 2010.

Acrux Ltd: a successful Melbourne-based pharmaceutical investment play now capitalised at more than $500 million but only has 4 blokes on the board.

AED Oil: Melbourne-based company which talked themselves up a storm when it's share price got to a high of $11.40 and it was worth more than $1 billion. Shares crashed, fell out of ASX200 and maybe they would have done better if it wasn't just six blokes on the board.

APN News & Media: largest operator of radio broadcasting and outdoor advertising in Australasia, as well as one of Australia's leading regional publishers with 10 blokes on the board. Fell out of ASX200 in 2012.

Aston Resources: Nathan Tinkler's newly listed coal play has five blokes on the board.

Aquarius Platinum (Bermuda): is the world's fourth largest primary platinum producer and has 8 blokes on the board.

Aquila Resources: exploration and mining of coal and iron ore resources 5 blokes.



Austar: the largest subscription television operator in regional and rural Australia with 7 blokes on the board. Taken over by Foxtel in 2011.

Australian Infrastructure Fund: is one of Australia's leading diversified transport infrastructure funds with 6 blokes on the board.

Boart Longyear: manufacturer and supplier of tools, equipment and contracting services. It had 6 blokes on the board but then got a female chair.in Barbara Jeremiah, plus Tanya Fratto joined in 2011.

Bradken: the leading global supplier of differentiated consumable and capital products to international markets and it has 6 blokes on the board. Dr Eileen Doyle appointed in 2011.

Bunnings Warehouse Prop Trust: is focused on warehouse retailing properties and, in particular, Bunnings Warehouse properties tenanted by Bunnings and 5 blokes on the board. Fiona Harris subsequently appointed.

Cabcharge Australia: a global leader in the payment of taxi fares for the transport sector and has 8 blokes on the board.

Carnarvon Petroleum: the oil and gas explorer has 4 blokes on the board.

Cudeco: colourful Queensland copper explorer which has 5 blokes on the board.

Eastern Star Gas: is focused on exploration, development and production of coal seam gas in Australia, and has 5 blokes on the board.

Echo Entertainment Group: recently demerged from Tabcorp which retained the two female directors, so the hunt is now on.

Elders: focused on rural services, financial services and real estate to the Australian agriculture sector and has 8 blokes on the board.

Eldorado Gold: focused on gold production, exploration and development with 7 blokes on the board.

Emeco Holdings: integrated earthmoving equipment solutions from equipment rental to management solutions, and has 6 blokes on the board.

Energy World: involved the production and sale of power, oil and natural gas, and has 7 blokes on the board.

Envestra: is Australia's largest distributor of natural gas and has 8 blokes on the board.

Equinox Resources: focused on mining exploration and resource development for copper, gold, and cobalt, and has 6 blokes on the board.

FKP Property Group: struggling Queensland based property and investment group with 7 blokes on the board. Still the case when renamed Aveo in 2014.

Fleetwood Corp: its operations are based around the sale of caravans and caravan accessories and has 4 blokes on the board. Still no females in 2014.

Flight Centre: specialising in cheap international and domestic travel, they have 4 blokes on the board.

Fortescue Metals: is established as one of the world's largest producers and sea-borne traders of iron ore and has 11 blokes on the board.

GUD Holdings: is an Australasian manufacturing and marketing company with 6 blokes on the board.

GWA: supplier of building fixtures and fittings to households and commercial premises with 7 blokes on the board.

Gindalbie Metals: focused on iron ore exploration they have 8 blokes on the board.

Gunns: milling, processing and merchandising of timber, merchandising of hardware and building supplies with 5 blokes on the board.

Hastie Group: is a leading international designer, installer and maintainer of technical services to the building and infrastructure sectors, and has 7 blokes on the board.

Hastings Diversified: is a specialist manager of infrastructure, private equity and high yield investments with 7 blokes on the board.

Investa Office Fund: primarily involved in real estate investment, it has 5 blokes on the board.

Incitec Pivot: manufacturer and supplier of fertilisers and industrial explosives with 6 blokes on the board.

Infigen Energy: the old Babcock & Brown Wind is a developer, owner and manager of a portfolio of wind energy generation assets and has 5 blokes on the board.



James Hardie Industries: one of the largest manufacturers of fibre cement products and systems for construction with 8 blokes on the board.

JB Hi-Fi: specialty retailer of home entertainment products and has 6 blokes on the board.

Kagara Zinc: focused on zinc exploration and mining, and has 5 blokes on the board.

Karoon Gas Australia: the exploration for Coal Bed Methane, Hydrocarbons and natural gas with 4 blokes on the board.

Kingsgate Consolidated: focused on gold mining and exploration, and has 4 blokes on the board.

Leighton Holdings: is the parent company of Australia's largest project development and contracting group, and has 12 blokes on the board.

Linc Energy: supplier of environmentally friendly power, diesel and jet fuels and has 4 blokes on the board.

Lynas Corporation: focused on project development, mineral exploration and investment, and has 4 blokes on the board.

Macmahon Holdings: contract mining, civil engineering and quarrying, and has 7 blokes on the board.

Macquarie Altas Roads: operator and manager of a portfolio of toll road assets and has 7 blokes on the board.

Medusa Mining: mining production and exploration with 6 blokes on the board.

Mermaid Marine Australia: provides diverse range of marine related services to major oil and gas exploration companies, and has 6 blokes on the board.

Reece Australia: Australia's largest plumbing supplies company has 6 blokes on the board including 4 members of the controlling Wilson family.

ResMed: the medical device manufacturer has 7 blokes on the board.

Riversdale Mining: focused on coal mining exploration and development, and has 6 blokes on the board.

Roc Oil: their activities involve oil and natural gas exploration and production. It has 5 blokes on the board.

Seven West Media: media conglomerate controlled by Kerry Stokes which has 7 blokes on the board.

Sims Metal Management: global metal recycling and innovative recycling solutions, and has 9 blokes on the board.

Southern Cross Media Group: this media group has 5 blokes on the board.

Straits Resources: a diversified mining and exploration company producing copper and gold, and has 5 blokes on the board.

TPG Telecom: focused on telecommunications, it has 5 blokes on the board.


The Reject Shop: a discount variety retailer, it has 3 blokes on the board.

Transpacific Industries: liquid and hazardous waste management, solid waste, industrial solutions and commercial vehicle importation and distribution. It has 7 blokes on the board.

Western Areas: focused on mining exploration, it has 6 blokes on the board.

White Energy: involved in the commercialisation of coal technologies, it has 4 blokes on the board.

Whitehaven Coal: coal mining and exploration. It has 6 blokes on the board.
